All Star for DeafRead?
Under 2 minutes video...In this video I suggest that DeafRead have an All Star ballot for the middle of the year. Same process of nominating and voting that DeafRead had at the end of last year. All Star winners from each categories automatically gets on ballot for end of this year. I will explain some more in here. Please share your thoughts on this.

A few comments:
1.) You are right, most of the winners at the DR conference actively campaigned prior to the conference by posting their "2007 best v/blogs". That helped them for sure.
2.) I *MUST* warn you that PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN no matter what. DeafRead is going to have an independent nomination & voting collecting committee next year for sure. Too many people were screaming that our voting process was "rigged"...but let's not go there now...
3.) I would get as many different people involved in this as possible so there will be no one who complains...people are hard to please...

Its not a bad idea but there is going to be some issues about it but its worth to have a look and make some changes. Im all for changes so long there is not boxing matches involved :)
JJ, yes I know I've seen some of our accusations on you or others for having the votes fix and for favortisms. It did give me some thoughts whether I should vlog or not but decided to give it a shot.
I was on the live chatroom recently and that idea for middle of the year nominations/voting just came up and we wouldn't need to have conference...but for February only.
Sounds like a good idea to have more people involved with screening the votes for next year.
